On our travels, we loved the patterned repetition of tiled village roofs and neatly marked crop fields and translated them into a uniquely beautiful handwoven checkered weave. Naturally dyed using a combination of Baheda fruit and walnut shells. Handwoven on a pedal loom in Kutch, our kala cotton features a woven texture. With a unique hand and feel, our textured woven fabric is the perfect fabric choice for the summer.

This beautiful weave was used on our Dipak shorts which have a regular rise, drawstring elastic waist. Relaxed fitting and utilitarian in nature, they are complete with special elements including a handmade drawcord, reinforced back pocket detail and finished interior seams that create a garment that is as beautiful on the inside as the outside.
